I explained this in more detail in a private email to Sebastian, but, for 
a quick summary:

I consider Ukyou #2 on Ranma's list, i.e. if Akane ate her own cooking, 
was killed by some crazy visitor, joined the ShAS, etc., Ukyou would be the 
most likely bridal candidate for Ranma.  I like the character, believe me.

Now please put the nice katana away...please?
