Is somebody gonna write a 'Ranma-gets-pregnant' story?
If it matters to anyone, I am. Ranma gets pregnant in what
seemed to me to be the obvious way. Hint: in most of my writing, the
manga is canon, with particular anime episodes tossed in to suit my
purposes. So the key is an anime-only episode. If you guess that,
which I admit isn't too tricky, the probable father ought to be easy. No
harm in revealing that since the story deals with the aftermath.
If I'm lucky, this might be out by the end of the year (calendar
or fiscal I'm not saying). I need to do a little research into seppuku
and Shintoism. (One question I can ask now. What's the preferred
blade? I've seen some sources say the tanto, one mentioned the
wakizashi, although I would think that would be slightly awkward due
to its length.) Also there's the little matter of the twelve other stories
I've got partially written and the eight I'm plotting (mostly Ranma,
with some Sailor Moon and Tenchi Muyo). I've got a lot more time
to think up ideas than to actually sit down and write them. This is
farther along than most, though, and shows signs of splitting into
three stories, so the first, which concludes shortly after the birth
of Ranma's child, might actually get finished sometime this century.
