This is not a clue at all!  As far as I know most anime worlds contain people
with hair from every colour in the rainbow.  It would be normal in the 
Ranmaverse for people to have red, purple, blue, or whatever hair colour,
so Kuno would not make a big deal out of it.  I have seen the original manga
works and R.T. colours her characters' hair colour from every colour
imaginalbe so what kind of "clue" is that?!
BTW, a lot of people tell me R.T.'s colour works of Ranma more often
than not has Ranma-chan's hair coloured a bright fire-engine RED so
there!
