c) In the Ranma 1/2 Universe.. Coloured Hair is not that unusual.  Shampoo
   has smegging *blue* hair for typing underwater's sake.  (which raises 
   another question... is Shampoo naturally that colour?  And the first  
   person to pull out an obscure MASH reference gets shot ;) )

     I've been following this SPAM-trail for a while and would have to 
agree that it is indeed red...not for any logical or genetic reasons...
Look at Macross - Max and Myria have blue and green hair
respectively....and don't try to say Max dyes his... as it would be out of
character....Anyway, in Macross & their daughters hair is cotton-candy
pink (not Nene red...but creeping up.) and in a more disjoited way in
Southern Cross (which is not a REAL sequel ....yet somehow IS) Dana's
hair 
is blond....
