Hello again! After our three day weekend, we are rested, hung over,
and ready to resume our C&C! So here is the next installment of our
reviews!

Slashtooth: Welcome! Our first fanfic today is the Personalities
series. I must say, after reading Part one, I was left feeling kinda
empty. Gosunkugi was never stupid, just misdirected. If he did have
the ability to control Akane, I don't think he would have taken her
right away.

Ridgewolfe: I felt that the story needed to take itself more
seriously. Ukyou and Tofu? Mousse and Kasumi? Shampoo chasing
Mousse? 'Tis a vile presence I sense here!

Slashtooth: Overall, the story was, for an opener, kinda slow. There
wasn't enough background information. Part Two was more interesting,
but still tended to treat it lightly, even at the end.

Ridgewolfe: The characters did seem a bit out of character to me.
Kasumi falling for Mousse? Maybe I don't know the characters as well as
I thought. The story is getting better though.

Slashtooth: Part three was good. The ending was a bit of a letdown,
however. I wanted to see what happens between Kasumi and Mousse.

Ridgewolfe: I liked this one best of all. The comedic interplay
between Ryoga and Mousse was good, but I thought Mousse's fight with
Shampoo, even though he wasn't given a choice, showed how little he's
actually learned.

Slashtooth: I thought Mousse's brutal attack on Shampoo was way out of
Character. According to Kasumi, Mousse listens to her, let he ignored
her when she let him know that she didn't want him to attack Shampoo.
Thumbs middle, a wierd rating, but without more parts, or the next
series, the story left me empty at the end.

Ridgewolfe: Thumbs up for me. I liked it.

Slashtooth: Next, The Understudy. Ranma was WAY to logical in this
story. He didn't make a descision, but he was rational enough to talk
to Ukyou sensibly, and to make her understand.

Ridgewolfe: It seems to me that Ranma was just trying to avoid the
problem again, instead of addressing it. However, that is Ranma for
you. I guess that Ukyou picking a second love interest is a good idea,
considering the circumstances, it seemed to be a copout. Thumbs down.

Slashtooth: Thumbs down for me as well. The Understudy needs a rewrite
letting Ranma be more, well, irrational. Ranma, if he was that logical,
would have solved the fiancee problem a long time ago.

Ridgewolfe: Lastly, Symmetric Polynomials. This one was interesting.
Tachi seems to be a cross between Ranma and Kuno, while Shun seems to be
both the exact opposite, let a lot alike, Ukyou.(He has none of her
skills, yet is a voice of reason like I picture Ukyou to be) It also
seems that Brook has been teasing someone she shouldn't have.

Slashtooth: Good story. Mousse and Shampoo's relationship needs a
little more exploration, but the story doesn't center around them, so is
excusable. :) It is interesting, however, that Brook seems to have the
same problem as Shampoo and Mousse had. Thumbs up, waiting for more.

Ridgewolfe: I liked it and am waiting for more. Thumbs up.

Slashtooth: Well, That's it for this session of Slashtooth's Semi-Daily
reviews. As Always, Happy reading!
