(maniacal grin) Are you volunteering to run such a page?

Actually, I was hoping that someone else (a lurker) would step forward and
volunteer to run it. I don't know how to write html code and would rather be
writing fanfiction anyway.

I'll think about it and propose a format tomorrow morning.

JK

I'll do it, or at least make the attempt. It may slow down new
chapters of "Ai No Kodomo" a bit but if no one else wants the job I'll take
it. At least on terms I can handle and my account can handle.
I'd be willing to create a "fanfic in progress" page listing,
sorted by genere. in the following format:

-------------------------
Title:(link)(+file length)
Chapter listing:(if needed)(link)(+file length)
Author Name: (email link)(for comments or C&C or 'get back to work')
Description: (written by author)
Notes:(format, current version, other link/location to be found)
Last update: (taken from date I recieve mail)
--------------------------

Once a piece is completed it's moved to a second page archive in a
similar format. When space becomes an issue the actual files will be
removed in favor of alternate links where they may be found.
This will be a dated page only holding stories from a certain date
on, and only those that are mailed to me directly with the appropriate
information. If the story is posted to the FFML then a simple letter sent
straight to me containing the information will be sufficent, I don't need
two copies of every story in my mailbox.
Anyway, this is my proposal. I'll leave a day or so for response
before starting in case anyone else would like to do it or if people think
my proposal sucks. If I do start I will make an anouncement post to all
interested parties.
This will be minimal html to keep things simple and keep me sane.
Nothing fancy, mostly text with a few links. The rest is simply frosting
on the cake isn't it? Sorry, no interactive search java or other bs.
