        Well, despite your proof...I think the curse acts weird...so for those
people cursed to become animals...say Ryouga...if he was born a pig,
he would look like that tiny black pig Akane calls P-chan?

        The way the curse would work in *my* fanfic world (if I ever get around
to writing fanfics) would be for the cursed person to take on the shape of
whoever drowned in the pool...

Manga I am SURE that Ranma has black hair when he turns into a girl, I know
this for sure because of the fact that in a Shonen Sunday I have,
Takahashi-sama was doing a bit of Ranma in color and he had black hair while
he was a girl. I think the black hair makes more sense personally. 

        Yeah...it would...but not in that mythological fanfic world of mine
(see above).
