A lot of people are suspicious.  Most of the class figures it out
within the first week or so (manga)

Most of Ranma's disguises are almost totally based off of Ranma's
acting ability and a change of clothing.  Kuno doesn't count, as Ranma
isn't trying to fool him, and his mother doesn't count because she
hasn't seen him in male form, and so does not know how he dresses,
what he looks like, etc.

I personally feel that the more similar the two forms are, the more
impact a persona split or him thinking he's a girl will have.

(has anyone else seen the episode where Ranma gets bonked and decides
that he's a girl?  Does anyone else think that even as a girl he is
chasing Akane, but being a girl doesn't think Akane would be
comfortable with it?)(My younger sister has the entirety of the tv
series on tape (straight Japanese) and when I watched that episode
that was the impression that I got ^_^ )(we only got up to the 3rd
tape or so (EP T240s Net. 30 or so) before I had to come back to
school :/ )

Kuno fools himself, and for Ryouga Ranma alway's digs up something
that he'd never wear for a disguise.  And then he wears it ^_^

I like onna-Ranma with red hair :)

Hidaka Noriko (Hitoshi's Seiyuu pages are cool) (She did Jean in
Nadia! Oh my.)

Takaya's hair is a really dark red, like Kyousuke's cousin Akane (KOR)

Of course this raises the possibility that onna-Ranma's hair color
is normally black, but occasionally when she changes it ends up red,
or purple, or green ^_^

Which, of course would make disguises more interesting.
