Well, wouldn't *you* shorten it down if you had to type "Bubblegum Crisis"
all the time? ;)

Ever notice how this happens to most long-named series?  "Ah(Oh) My Goddess"
became AMG/OMG, "Kimagure Orange Road" became KOR, "Superdimensional
Fortress Macross" became Macross (of course, "Macross Plus" turned into Mac+
<- shortening the shortening I guess), and "Neon Genesis Evangelion" (did I
get that right?) became Eva.  

And then there's "Sailor Moon," which became SM.  That's not to be confused
with "Silent Mobius", which is also SM.  Or to be confused with certain
kinds of sex games, which wouldn't be too out of place in the Silent Mobius
SM, and some people would like to see added to the Sailor Moon SM to liven
things up ; )
