Hi...
This is just a note to all of those who are NOT sending a copy of their
work to WW's archive. It's there and it's useful but would be even better
if it had some of the stuff which was submitted to the list but not placed
there.
The stories being written here are great but sometimes we (unfortunately
) can't get to them all. This means some are being lost in the vast
oblivion of the great VOID (or your own HD if you have a copy) (I hope you
do). I have the mail buffer from hell (thanks to my university) but others
aren't so lucky....also if something is sitting for a while on a mail
spooler you may just forget what it is and possibly dump it only to
remember the next day. There have also been a few fragments which although
unfinished still make interesting reading...and having a fragment sitting
in the archive could goad you (by seeing it there or by repeated anoying
posts by others) into finishing it...
Although you may be posting to the list it may not (unless you have sent
a copy ) be getting put in the archive...
Now I know that putting the extra Cc can slow you down a wee little bit
but just think of the fun explorers from the future will have when they
find White Wolf's HD...or even explorers from the past :)
I realize that sometimes you may feel that perhaps you would rather not
put something in the archive...I think that's good as well (and of course
your own choice....I really am lousy at "convincing" people but also
realize that writers are not at their best when being fitted with cement
overshoes by pin-stripe suited gentlemen watched over by a cowled figure
in the shadows of the backgrownd :) )
Anyway, It also makes it easier for us all to get a hold of
your fic... and then of course cut it up in that winning way we all
have.....then of course you can post your "new improved" fic in its place.

     Just an idea....
As to how to do it... either consult the fac or some other
venerable sage in the group....I'm tired of typing tonight.

                                                   Neil

I met a Lady in the Meads,
                    Full beautiful, a faery's child,
Her hair was long, her foot was light
                    And her eyes were wild.
