I have two fanfic I wanted to write, one comic, one serious. The comic is
2/5 done, but I hit writer's block on it, so I started the serious last night.

  I'd posted part of another story a while ago, where one person had almost a
monologue, and the other characters had a sentence for every paragraph or two
he had.

  I seem to be doing it again with this story. Cologne, Dr. Tofu, or Ranma
will have a paragraph to say, get some feedback, and give another paragraph.
The dialogue DOES seem to me to flow smoothly, and it does help the story move
along at a decent rate, but I feel that the characters are taking turns making
speaches. 

  Is this inevitable in a story that covers discussions of the characters
motives and feelings? Am I worried over nothing?

  Whatever the answer, Akane better mallet him soon, or she'll be out of
character.

PS advice on this now, will prevent one round of C+C and rewrites later.
