Maybe they wouldn't need to know about the curse... Since (it's generally
agreed that) Ranma always thinks of himself as a man, why wouldn't it make
him(her) fall in love with a female while in female form?  Say... I dunno...
Kodachi?  Now, imagine her reaction to the evil pig-tailed girl chasing
after her declaring her love?  Not to mention the reactions of everyone else...
