First drafts are done with PEN and PAPER! Then if i am at home

What? If I did that...I wouldn't be able to read it...

I guess that makes you partly illiterate. :) :) :)
	(I can't spell!)

I have to use my DOS machine so it goes into WordPerfect for Windows.

Blech Wordperfect....

When I am ready to post something it then get saved to a text file,
which I edit with the text editor in the Borland C++ IDE to do final
touch ups as single and double quotes, and line breacks tend to
get mangled.

Duh.....
Hmmm...I find writing them in MS Word works just fine...as long as I save it as
a text file, and not as a Doc then convert it...

I find that Word also tends to mangel my stuff. I think it just knows
that I hate it, so it tries to screw me. :) :) :) And yes I save it as
a text file, I have tried I think every variation it offers me, I
something
	always seems to get mangled.

If I am at work, I tend to use something called text editor and
vi on my SPARC station. While I have Word for windows and Wordperfect

What is this vi thing? Is it 6 or Vi...?

No lower case v, lower case i, it means visual editor.
(versus just a line editor.) It is the standard UNIX
editor that ships on most every version of UNIX (that I
	am aware of)

availabe to me at work I am finding I am using vi more and more. Word
is not worth the hasles to get it to do what I want it to do, not what

WEll, I know how to use word fairly well...the only thing I get pissed of at
is it likes to make the word said with a capital S...

It is one thing to know how to use word fairly well, it is another
setting it up to run on a network, supproting people who have problem
understanding that turning on the monitor does not turn on the CPU,
	et ceterea.

So what is my suggestion to you. Paper, pen and vi. (and I am
not joking. I got to get a SUN box (UNIX) at home!

<Laughts>

I my writing is soooooo bad that My Hiragana is easyer to read....

Well I can read both my handwritting (I print everything, have
been for the last 25 years!) and my hirgana and katagana, just
need to work on my kanji.
