A busy day for me, this is. Posting 3 fics on the same day. You're all
lucky that my fics are short, and don't have sequels. ^.~
C&C is welcome. Please don't tell me it's too short. I'm not gonna mke it
longer. But if someone wants to use this as a premise for a fic, please
feel free. As long as I get credit for this work :D
A grey towel
He looked around. Then down.
She had nice hair. It was healthy. She obviously never put any styling crap in it.
It was nice, healthy, natural hair. He bent down, and gently lifted a lock of it
in his fingers. He fingered it idly for a second, then let it fall. He pulled out
a knife...still dirty, he noticed...and gently sawed that lock off and put it in a
pouch at his waist. He cleaned the knife, knowing that if he didn't do it now, he'd
forget. He slid it back into its sheath.
She had such pretty hair.
An odd color, too. He didn't think she'd dyed it. It didn't feel dyed, certainly.
He'd noticed that dyed hair had a slightly different texture. Especially when it
was that color. Weird. He'd never known anyone else with hair quite that shade of purple-blue.
He didn't think he ever would again, either.
He wiped his hands on his pants.
He smiled down at her. Poor thing, lying there all broken like that. He clapped
his hands twice in front of his face, and bowed his head. He didn't stop smiling.
He laughed.
Insane bastard. That's what people will call me, he thought to himself. Hmph. Well,
I'll show them. Insane bastard, indeed.
Ranma walked off, his hands clenched into tight fists. A cruel rictus grin marred
his features, and his eyes were maniacally wide. He walked off, his eyes darkening
until it seemed that they glowed black, discolouring his skin.
Somewhere in the darkness behind him, two eyes opened, and glowed an unholy red. The
rumble of a storm sounded on the horizon, and the air stilled.
"Welcome to the dark fold, child."

Like I said before, I build my fics around lines. The other day, I was reading my
Lady Death comics, and I found out that this is where I got the line from. It's
been a whlie, so I hadn't been entirely sure where this one had come from.
Actually, the line is changed a bit, the original was "Welcome to the fold, Dark
Child." Those of you that read Lady Death will know where this is from. Those of
you that don't, won't, and likely don't care.
Before you people ask, I'm not a depressed person, nor have I ever actually
attempted to kill anyone or anything. I do listen to NIN, but I really
don't think that that effects my writing at all. ^.^
Anyhoo, C&C is always welcome.
Oh, and the title makes sense to *me*, but I'm not gonna explain it. That's
sorta half the fun of a story.
