Anou...

Zen has a question of all of you that have had some actual courses in
Japanese...

A lot of fanfics lately have been using the -Ke suffix to denote "the home
of" as in Tendou-ke.... It seems to be used in this context to refer to a
*place*

Now, in the course of looking it up to find the proper kanji, Zen has
become confused.

Zen's Wa/Ei Jiten has only one definition of the -ke suffix, and it *is*
household... sort of. According to this book, it means *family*, not
*home*. So, the Tendou-ke would refer to the Tendou Clan, or the family as
a group.

Can anyone provide Zen with areference for its use to mean "the home of"?

Zen would very much appreciate it.

Doumo.
