Exhibit A:  Saotome Genma and Tendo Soun.  They seem to be able to 
arrange a wedding (at least the prelude to it) very quickly. ;)

Actually, I don't really know about the same in Japanese RL... perhaps 
Caroline, Jeanne, or Hitomi would know.
