Well here is a responce for you

1.  This list is very active and it takes a while to sort through everything.
2.  Frequently people plan to comment but just don't get around to it (I've
been guilty more than once)
3.  This is a good start/rewrite.  I can't think of anything wrong with its
general style, and it flows well.

4.  It might be a good idea to ID an anouncement message as an anouncment
message, not as a "Please read this message"

5.  We all have sudden "rude" attacks, that is most likely what happened to
you.  Don't give up.  My last chapter of BOD2 has gotten no general response
but I will continue to work on the story.
