Should be:  "I'm too little," she looked at the table pouting.

Jeez, I'm not sure, I just get called on it all the time. Would one of 
you English major type people clarify that for us?

I'm no major, but the second sentence there is correct.

I think it depends on whether or not it's part of a continuing sentence.
I have always written with a full stop if it was the end of the statement
by that character... Of course... I could be wrong... Sounds like one of
those things that people be arguing forever...
