Nice mini-fic.  My only comment/question
is why did Kasumi decide to say this now instead of later?

Oh, you want the build-up, you want the sequel.  The Cobb-unit provides
a nice little vinaigrette and everybody asks for crutons.

This would be part two of a three part piece.  Part one would have Kas
waking up to the similarities between her situation and Akane's.  Part
three would have Akane returning the favor.
