Ahem.  I certainly want some people telling me how good or bad my
fanfics are, and that is, I feel, the main purpose of the list.  If
you just want to post, do it to raac.  My first fanfic, Sour Times,
benefitted from the critiques I got (i.e. Nabiki was almost totally 
eliminated).  My others have been helped the same way.  And I'm an
author who *hates* to rewrite.  Without the critiques (and mild praise),
I'd probably have gone to ground after ST.  We need feedback, hence
this list.  It isn't just "Hey, Look at me!", y'know.

Now, as to my reviews a few weeks back, the list was slow.  I felt
like generating a few comments.  It worked for a bit, but when I
felt I was talking to myself, the reviews stopped.  I also gave
very few harsh reviews, and even those I did (A few of Jeff Rutsch's),
were tempered with good points or other good stuff by the same
author.

Ahh I dunno why I said all that. What I read of the review was basically 
trashing the guy's grammar, usage of Japanese phrases, ability to use comedy, 
etc. Sparked an old fire in me, I guess. Sorry about going overboard, for 
payment I give you full rights to post a review about me after I post part one 
of my Ranma fic. (A project I expected to take weeks is going to be done in 3 
days at this rate!)

Hi Doug.  I'm sorry, I won't comment on grammar or anything like that again.  I mean, who needs grammar when you have a good story?  Who needs to tell jokes? As long as the story is good.  Who cares if someone messes up a use of the language?  At least it's funny, and I'm sure he/she didn't know it was used a certain way.  From now on, I will talk about the story perspective of the fic.  No more boring, we-don't-need mechanics crap.  I mean, if the story is extremely good, who needs to know how to write a sentence?

Oh, and you know what?  I'll only point out the good points of the author, that way, everybody will be happy.  There, now we all feel better and don't need to post on the ffml any more.  You guys, if you want to flame to me about the above statement, just e-mail me at Yinyang@altered.com.
