fan fiction that arises from it?
I don't know honestly. I know that some
American comic writers are a part of the forums
discussing their work. It's a reall thrill when
you post something about someone's work and
a couple seconds later, the author themselves is
saying, "Thanks for the comments." However, because
of the whole "separate nation" thing, the creators
of the manga and anime would find it hard to follow
fanfics in America. Japanese fanfics however could
be a different story all together (no pun intended).
