White Wolf's back, folks.
You call me Gaf again, Kergie-baby, and I'll insert a large
garden gnome in you.
I haven't had a nickname in 23 years; don't need one now.
Oooo...shouldn't have said a word then...*tsk, tsk*
Panda and Albercrombie the Space Gopher exchange excited glances...
Gopher slides a soapbox up to Panda's feet, whereupon Panda steps
up onto the box and clears his throat...
HEAR YE! HEAR YE!
>From this moment on, Sean Gaffney shall be known to the membership
of this list as "Gaf" !!!
Panda steps down from the soapbox. Gopher smiles as they walk away.
Gopher: "My! It's been some time since we have had to do one of those!
Nicely done bamboo breath. Very straight forward, not clouded by fancy
embelishments. An announcement to be proud of."
Panda: "Why thank-you "He who lives in a hole". While it pales in comparison
to your intricate and multi-layered nickname announcement from December of
the year preceeding, I must admit, this one does have a certain quailty to
it that reflects the times and conditions we live in."
Gopher: "An interesting metaphor, yes. I see now how using "from this moment
on" could be an analogy for the current generation's feeling of frustration
at what has been left to them... very profound. I congratulate
you on that usage. But- "
Panda: "Yes?"
Gopher: "You must admit, using "Hear Ye" is a bit dated."
Panda: "Oh pishaw! It's traditional for such things. Are you telling me you
are ready to toss the traditions that this list was built on? Surely, you can't
be serious!"
Gopher: "Indeed I am sir! Who ever heard of a Panda saying "Hear Ye!"? Why
the very vision causes those muscles that control my grinning mechanisms to
twitch expectantly! And... "
Panda: "There's more?"
Gopher: <Looking glum> "I am afraid so..."
Panda: "Out with it then my rodentine friend!"
Gopher: "Please- don't call me Shirley."
Panda baps Gopher as they disappear to Stage left...
Panda (of White Wolf's Theatrical revue! Never coming to a theatre near you!)
