praise for my own stuff! Thanks for the kind words.
As to the story itself, I like it very much. Just a couple of things:
Isn't Skuld supposed to be 13 forever? She never ages, as far as I
know. I could be wrong about this.
Who is this cousin of Keiichi's? I've never seen him before.
Also, on more of a plot note. You don't give a justification for
Keiichi's proposal. By this I mean that one day, he wakes up and
decides to propose. I'd like to see a bit more rationale behind this -
something that upsets the delicate balance of Keiichi's life enough that
he has some self-realizations and breakthroughs that give him the
determination necessary to propose. It doesn't have to be much: the
sight of children playing in the street, the strong advances of another
woman attracted to Keiichi, something Urd says to him in one of their
verbal battles. In "Thy Inward Love", all Akane needs to break down the
barriers is the knowledge that Ranma needs her help, that he came to her
when he was feeling down. Of such tiny acorns are mighty mixed
metaphors built.
Other than that minor concern, the story worked fairly well. There were
a couple of rough spots - awkward phrasings and all that. I'd point
them out to you but you've already posted to r.a.a.c, so I'm not sure
that they'd do you much good at this point. :)
