Okay everyone, I think I'll do some reviewing of my own.

Everyone who posts a fanfic, no matter how badly done: Excellent, keep
writing.

Everyone who gives 'reviews' on authors: Shutup. Nobody wants you telling them

No. Ever heard of Freedom of speech?

Ideally, a good fanfic review will give you some idea of what it is
about, and what, at least in the idea of the fanfic writer, is good and
bad about it. Not everyone has time to read EVERY fanfic, and having
someone's opinion on which ones are worth reading can be a valuable tool.

At the same time, it's important to realize that everyone does have their
biases, so you shouldn't just take the reviewers words for gospel all the
time, either.
