Wait, you mean, there's still hope that your wonderful series will follow
the One True Path and have Ryouga and Akari end up together?  I here I had
almost given up hope...

I dunno...the writing is always more important than the pairing.
If Ukyou and Ryouga continue to develop as they have so far, then
I might not have a problem.  Of course, if Akari's heart is broken,
I'll get mad.  But if it's done equitably, fine.

And if Ukyou's heart is broken, well...join the 28 other fanfics
with the same thing. :-)
