*ROTFL* Viz is 'official'?!?! *laughlaughlaugh* Not even in all my time
that I've been having conversations from someone from Viz has he EVER
called it 'official'!! *laugh* Viz is about as official as that SM CD
place in Taiwan or Korea or wherever it is ... *ROTFL!*

Appreciating transliteration is one thing ... but calling it 'official'???
Appreciate all you want, but it just is not 'official' no matter HOW much you
like transliterations...

Ummmm...I don't know who has the rights to Ranma down under, but up here in 
North America, Viz *does* have the legal rights to Ranma.  There is a reason 
why a lot of fanfic authors list Viz as one of the copyright owners in their 
disclaimers.  Love them or hate them, but I'd say that those legal rights make 
the translations/transliterations as official as they get...
