Probably, MIkay, because there are too many offenders on
this list (myself included) to send each and every
one of them a private email.  

Which is why most people spam; there's too many people here they consider 
friends to reach by private email ;)

Speaking as the self-proclaimed "Queen of Spam" from March to May,
I say, "Spam!  Give me more!  Lots of it!  With ketchup on top!"

As the conscientious person some people know me as,
I say that spam (on this list at least) falls into two
categories: true non-topic spam that can be relegated 
to private email after a while and spamfics/wonderings that
can actually lead or spark creative forays into fanfics.

I know that personally, one of my fanfic ideas began
after such a spammy discussion-fest and one of the worst
spamfics to ever spam the list helped define another
character that I have slated for a RL work somewhere
in the future.  

I enjoy spamfics, and even participated in the fiasco that was Poker Game III ;)

We've had this discussion before.  WWolf, our dear
moderator and Benefactor and Founder, steps in
when he feels that it gets too out of hand.  Trust
that he, or the rest of the people here, will rein in
thos of the worst offenders.

I rarely post, but I'm not too bothered by spam. I watch anime because it's
fun. I come here because it's fun. To me, spam is merely the off-topic
ramblings that ensue when any group of friends ( or supposed friends )
gather in a social setting. After all, it's not as if we're here to cure
cancer, solve world hunger, or plug the hole in the ozone layer. The second
this becomes a place where we all come, link up, and transmit fanfics and
C+C with no real sense of who the other person is, I'll tender my
unsubscription, because this place will have become a redundant variant of
raac. Some people just need to relax.
