Can't help but to reply to this criticism.  I didn't write the fic, but I feel
impelled to respond.

Akane: Oh?  And just what is that supposed to mean?

Does this girl have facial expressions or what?

I think it should be fairly evident from the context what her facial
expression is.  Why state the obvious?  It would only slow down the fic.

   Ranma bursts into the kitchen, tearing the doors off of the
hinges.  He is surrounded with a battle aura that rivals Happosai's,
pure hatred etched on his face.

Arrrggghhh!!! Don't tell us, SHOW us!

Now this is really curious.   I really don't understand this statement. 
How, precisely, is the author supposed to "show" us this?  It seems to
me that the author is showing us this.  I, at least, had no trouble imagining
this scene.  Perhaps it's not Shakespeare, but it's really unclear (to me)
how you would have the author change it...
