Here's a snapshot from the later parts of the story, just to make sure
that I can use Miyu effectively.

My Cast:

Usagi Tsukino aka Sailor Moon aka Meatball Head: refugee moon princess
    and last surviving sailor scout.

Eiko Magami aka A-ko: super speed and strength combined with a genetic
    predisposition to combat injustice make this redhead's dreams of an
    ordinary life improbable.

Kyuuketsuhime Miyu: Vampire and demon hunter.  For crimes against the
    gods, she has been condemned to eternal puberty.

Megamisamaa Skuld: Goddess of the future, untimely death and debuggery.

Biko Daitokuji aka B-ko: misunderstood supergenius bitchy blue bimbo
    with military-industrial complexes.  Her greatest weakness is
    wide-eyed blondes.

Magical Girls Dream Team "Moonlight Knight"

The charge of the beast was stopped by the fall of a white rose.

Sailor Moon looked up at the Moonlight Knight, but he said nothing,
turned and left.

She stared at the rose embedded in the sidewalk as it grew translucent
and faded away, oblivious to the sounds of combat around her.

Sailor Moon remained trapped in memory until A-ko gently shook her
shoulder. "Usagi, are you alright?"

"Yes, I'll be fine" Sailor Moon gathered herself to her feet.

"We've stunned the monster" A-ko pointed at the comatose form, "so if
you'd just do the honours."

This was something she could deal with, "Moon Healing Activation!"  The
beast transformed back into a schoolgirl.

"That guy" A-ko pointed to the Moonlight Knight had stood, "he's a
friend of yours?"  Moon simply nodded.

"So handsome and brave" Skuld noted then added wistfully "He reminds me
of my old boyfriend Siegfried."

"I thought Siegfried was your Nephew, twice over?" B-ko taunted.

"Oh B-ko", Skuld sighed, "Things were different back then, but I'd still
make an exception for him now."

"I wonder how he'd taste?"  As the other girls glared at Miyu she
continued "his blood, I mean", licking her fangs.

"Like dust!"  Usagi thought the other girls where having entirely too
much fun at her expense.  "He's dead, remind me to show you his grave,
next time we're in Tokyo.  That's where his body lies."  She opened her
locket and gazed into the Ginzuishou.  "But his soul is in here."

Feeling weak, Sailor Moon sat down on a bench as she spoke to the
crystal. "I'll bring you back my love.  They haven't beaten us.  I'll
bring you back and we'll have Chibi."  Sobbing softly, she hardly
noticed the heated argument Miyu and Skuld were having in the distance.

Moon looked up as Miyu and Skuld returned.

"Usagi", Miyu began, "you are a danger."

"Yes, I know I'm in danger!"  Moon snapped, "It's the negaverse, they've
gotten all of my friends, but they won't get me."

"No" Miyu corrected, "You are the danger.  Our enemies attack through
negative emotions.  If they should catch you through your grief and gain
control of the Ginzuishou...   We must prevent this."

A-ko and B-ko jumped between Miyu and Sailor Moon at this, but Skuld
motioned for them to stand aside "Hear her out".

"Skuld and I can sense when the enemy attacks." Miyu continued "One of
us will be with you always, until you get over your pain or we defeat
this foe.  I'll ``convince'' your aunt that it's perfectly normal for us
to be staying over.  The alternative is that I seal you away from your
grief in a world of dreams forever."

So that's it, Usagi thought, I'm the weak link in the chain.  They don't
trust me to left alone for one moment, day or night.  I'll show
them. "No thanks, I can handle it, but it'll be fun to have you two
over."

That night the final battle returned.  All of the scouts were gone, only
Chibi, Mamoru and Sailor Moon remained.  Usagi wouldn't have been there
either, except for her usual tardiness.

Moon and Chibi applied their Ginzuishous bravely, but were forced back.

Wiseman aimed the killing blow at Chibi, but Mamoru threw himself in the
way and was blasted back.  Moon didn't dare take her eyes from Wiseman
to look after him.

Chibi seemed to grow pale.  Somehow Moon could hear Mamoru's struggle
for breath behind her.  Chibi was fading away, each of Mamoru's gasps
for air would blow a little solidity into her, but each was weaker.

Wiseman pressed his advantage against Sailor Moon, as Chibi's last cry
of "Mama!" faded entirely away, leaving an ominous silence behind Usagi.

"Die!" She screamed and poured her entire strength through the crystal,
reducing Wiseman to scattered moondust and shattering his dark crystal.

Usagi could just barely manage to craw back to Mamoru, there was of
course no trace of Chibi.  The emergency workers found her there, as
Usagi, his cold corpse in her arms.

The tears were still as fresh, Usagi thought she was awake, but she was
still hugging somebody.

Snapping her eyes open in shock, it took Usagi a few moments to realise
who it was "Don't bite, OK?" she joked.

"Not until you ask me to" Miyu replied, "and I'm convinced the desire is
genuine".
