: Nabiki stood slightly behind her husband and held up a sheet of paper, "You
: dare to do this to my little sister and my niece? This paper is your
: downfall."
[snip]
: Cologne, backing her words with a confidence she didn't feel, assumed a
: defensive posture, "No paper could defeat me."
[snip]
: Nabiki spoke up, "This is a letter from the Joketsuzoku tribe, stating that
: you are no longer fit to be part of the Amazon tribe. 'We hereby remove all
: rights and honours of the Amazon warrior code from you. The one who brings
: disgrace on the Joketsuzoku tribe is no longer one of us. Cologne of the
: Joketsuzoku, you are now Cologne the Disgraced.'"
I forgot to mention this the first time around, but that letter was
far too deus-ex-machina. The effect was almost lost in the
combined assault by all the characters, and the way Nabiki just
happened to have it handy, was not prepared, nor explained any
further. With a little foreshadowing and more background
information, this could be one of the major points of the battle.
Any suggestions on how I should do this? (I'm not in much of an editing
mood right now ... )
