When I first posted my attempt at a lemon, "Needs and Desires", the
response was resounding silence. Well, that's not true; I did get a few
thoughtful responses. But not nearly as much as I usually get, which
makes me believe that the story wasn't good. Plus I managed to offend
Kun-chan in the process.

Prepare to die. The atomic exploding martial ninja aubergines have been
deployed.

So it was my plan to never work on it again,
and to move on to other things.

Don't you dare.

After stating that, I've gotten a couple of replies from people thinking
I shouldn't kill the story outright, but go ahead and put it on my web
page. I'm not so sure; I'd need to rewrite it to reflect the excellent
C&C I did get, and I'm just not convinced it's worth the effort.

That's our Richard: Writes *marvellous* fanfics, but always seems
convinced that they're crap and not worth anyone's effort, including his
own.

So I thought I'd ask y'all, the ones who stayed silent: What did you
think, really, of that story? Should it die and never see the light of
day? Was it so-so, maybe okay but not okay? Or is it that you just
don't like lemons in general? (I actually fall into that category.)

It was *good*. It was good as a lemon *and* it was good as a story in
general. It was just plain *good*, okay? Are you listening?
