What's "Legends" in german? Thanks.

Okay, people, listen to a genuine German.

The german word for 'the legend', meaning *both* the story and the
explanatory thingy beside a map, is "die Legende". The plural is "die
Legenden"

      singular plural
nom. die Legende die Legenden
gen. der Legende der Legenden
dat. der Legende den Legenden
acc. die Legende die Legenden

'story' means "Geschichte", and "Sage" is a different kind of legend, but
you can't go wrong with "Legende"
