Dos version?  Man those text based OS are over.  GUI's are the cutting edge.

try this.  use notepad to write a story with long lines.  now save it.
good.  go to dos and run edit.com, or vi, or whatever.  notice how you
must scroll left and right to read the text.  now go left and right for
ten minutes.  then you'll see my point.  go back to your windows editor
if you like, but i like my dos editor's interface.
