Wonders never cease, eh?;) I'm one of the few people who run in my friend
circles that is an avid Disney fan and always has been. The impending
release of Miyazaki's films by Disney has me jumping for joy. So they'll
be dubbed, so what? Think of all the doors this will open!!:) I hardly
doubt Disney can stop people from getting the original Japanese LD's, so
it doesn't worry me much. Disney has better things to do than arrest
harmless otakus:)

Tell me, what ARE Miyazaki films?  I'm quite an avid otaku, but I haven't 
heard of them.  Maybe I have, but I just don't recognize the name.  Are 
they going to be released in theaters or on video?

I love Disney, however, I still haven't forgiven them for "Pocahontas".
What did you think of that and Hunchback?

I *loved* Hunchback. Absolutely adored it. And beleve me, I cringed in
fear when I heard about it.

Very depressing^_^;; The fact that they changed the ending bothers me not
at all. That's the way Disney has *always* done things, why should it

I agree.  Besides, it is nice to know somebody out there has made a safe

I know.  I know some Itallian and I want to get the original version in 
Italian, but its very difficult.  Also, ITALIAN LITURITURE is VERY 
complex with metaphors and idioms and such.  I could easly ask for 
directions in Italy, or read an anime page written in  Italian, but a 
book? Not yet.

Little Mermaid was extremely depressing, too... Besides, as a person who
once wallowed in depression and was once suicidal, cheerful is good!

It was okay. I have the video and all, it's just that I couldn't get over
the fact that Pocahontas was, what, 12? at the time, and John Smith did
*not* look like Mel Gibson:) I've seen what Poca's voice actor looks like,
though, so I know where they got their ideas^_^;;; And yes, she does look
a *lot* like that....

Have you ever seen the Disney OAV's?

They're awsome!

"The Brave Little Toaster"  is my favorite.  It was a ACUTUAL 
antropomorphic drama!  An animated DRAMA! In America!

"The Return of Jafar" was also great. 

I can't wait for "The King of Theives"!
