Hmm, that's interesting about all anime otakus hating Disney.  My friends
and I enjoy both and understand the reasons Disney has for being what it
is.  Also you seem to lump all anime together.  There are different authors, and
different genres in anime too you know!  Totoro is for a different audience then
say Ghost in Shell.  ........compared to
the marketing power and pure show biz clout, there's really no competition.

Also, I didn't mean to lump all anime fans together.  Then again, I 
didn't have time to compare each type.  I don't even know what all the 
types are.  In my experience, every otaku is his or her own type, and the 
love for animation is the only thing that unites them.  But that's just 
my experience.

I too agree that Disney is a bit of a "Genom" in that it completely 
dominates its niche.  Did anyone see "The Swan Princess"?

I would like to see the competitors get ahead and make the game more of 
an even race.
