What exactly is John biles type humor, if I may ask? :)
I'm not going to tell you. If I did, you'll be trying to do your humor the
way I told you think you do, and it won't be funny.
Honestly? I don't think that matters in John's case. HIS particular humor is
pretty eclectic. From gags thru long setup paragraphs leading to a
one-liner, from evil puns through running gags, he'll pull out pretty much
anything. Whether or not it always work is another thing. :) ("John? What's so
funny about "Some Prefers Nettles?" "Nothing. It's just a reference to an
obscure English book I read." "Oh. You're trying to mess with my mind, eh?"
"Heh. :) ")
By the way, you know that Elseworlds story I was going to write to you? I
found out something, no wonder David is haveing a hard time with it. It is
going absolutely nowhere. Agg, I might finish it in 5 years and give it to
you to look at. Oh, this is piccolo@cyber.atlanta.com in another e-mail
address.
Oh, were you supposed to do the Kodachi Elseworlds? Heh... I'm still STUCK in
16th century with Kunou. I just can't really write military combat scenes. :P~
I mean, MY story goes somewhere, it has a plot, it has coherency. It even has
perfect spelling. So why is it I can't get past the reliance on military combat
scenes to show how Kunou becomes Shogun of all Japan? :( *grumble mutter gripe*
The story feels too linear to me to overcome this particular problem. :P~
It's been stuck at the same point since 4 months ago. :P~ I don't suppose
anybody wants to suggest how to get past that point?
BTW, to refresh my memory, was the Elseworlds series supposed to go like this:
Ukyou
Shampoo
Akane
Happosai
Kunou
Kodachi
Ranma
?
John told me that the only way we'd ever find out who Green Robes and Purple
Robes are is if we finish our Elseworlds stories. *grumble*
