Well, AFAIK incestual relationships in Japan aren't anywhere near as taboo
as they are in the US.  I've been told by exchange students that it occurs a
lot more frequently than people think.  So I thought it was fairly logical
to have Ranma fall for Ranko, or vice versa.

But for the moment, they've only found each other fairly attractive
(sexually speaking).  I haven't really thought about having them go all the
way.  But since Ranma has never lived with a sister in the house, he'd have
to be fairly tempted by someone as good looking as Ranko.  (IMHO)

I have trouble seeing either of them falling for the other, really.
On Ranko's side, there's the *He's my brother!* stuck in there for the
past 15(?) years.  Change of personality is not going to make Ranma
attractive enough.  As for Ranma, your talking about a guy who has 3+
official fiancees, Shampoo by Amazonian laws, and Kodachi by her
insanity.  Not to mention his cursed half that he's had to live with
for the past few years.  Of all the possible choices, he's really only
interested in one, Akane.  He still is interested in her.  Also, he's
spent years in cursed form, cursing his curse, as it were.  I really
don't think he's going to find it attractive.  After all, he knows all
about it.  Come to think of it, the only girl he's shown any interest
is is Akane.  Why would that change, especially when he's so close to
actually having a normal relationship with her?
