Yeah, Phil from Antigrav room - he's the VJ for YTV's afternoon

Arghh!! I *HATE* him! Him and that stupid TV-freak-thing he pretends to
talk to. But thats just me.... ^_^
Really? Yeah, the TV's kinda dumb... but I still think it's
kinda neat. Love it when he's trying to kill the last 30 seconds between
shows, and he can't think of anything... you can tell he's almost
starting to laugh at himself...
(repeated when in the week, I don't know). But I believe they'll still be
showing reruns for a few more weeks. I'm guessing that the last week of
august or the week after that is when the new season will start. I can
hardly wait...
Yeah... great show? Was the finale the one when he got blasted
through the portal, out of Mainframe, and it was up to Enzo to take over
to fight of the bad guys?
Robotech was excellent on TV, but recently I rented a few of the first
episodes on tape and watched them again. I was disappointed. I guess I
remember them as being better than they actually where. I think I'll stick
to my memories of the show instead, although I'd be real interested in
getting a hold of the original episodes that have been subbed.
Yeah... saw some of the tapes, and not as good as memories, but
still fun. The dubbing is so horrible, I can't believe I didn't notice
as a kid. Rick is constantly 'huh?'ing to fill space.
G-Force?? I don't recall that one specifically. I do remember seeing two
different shows as a kid that now, looking back, I realize must have been
anime translations. One was called THUNDERBIRDS 2086 or something close
and it was a clone of the 60s thunderbirds story (the 60s thunderbirds was
on YTV until last year. Gawd, what a great network). The other I don't
recall much about except there was a ship/vehicle/vessel/whatever called
the 'fiery phoenix' in it. Was either of these shows G-Force?? I'd kill
to get a hold of some episodes of either one of them.
YEah... the Phoenix was G-Force (AKA Battle of the Planets, AKA
Gatcheman in Japan - I think). Remember? The team all had their
vehicles, that would jump up and join with the spaceship, and they'd blow
up animal-shaped spaceships. And, yeah, YTV's great... they even used to
play Speed Racer (gawd, it was bad - funnily bad), and even Red Dwarf at
one point (2 years ago, I think.)
Oh, wow... I've actually been a part of a SPAM thread!
Cooooool!
