You should give it more of a chance.  It tends to grow upon you.  I'm a
less then a month away from 20 and I think it is the most intelligent
anime even shown in the US.  I know fans that are in their 30's.  It
has, I will admit, a kiddish veneer, but beneath it are adult themes
I've never seen reproduced in any show short of Babylon 5.

I dunno.  I love it.  And I probably always will...
