What would you consider more improtant in a crossover like this?  Keeping
the realtionships the same or changing characters that are similar?  I don't
think you could do an Ukyou/Ivonova Akane/Dalen crossover without mangling
th B5 characters, and that would ruin it for us hard core B5 fans.  Akane
and Ivonova have the same *temper*ment and IMHO make a good match.

        Since for the most part this is turning into a B5 using Ranma
characters I feel it's more important to preserve the relationships.
Otherwise it would just become a B5 story using Ranma names instead of the
B5 ones.
        In crossovers such as this it becomes a matter of "let's put our
Ranma characters into this different situation and see how they react."
They wouldn't be Ranma characters otherwise.  I love B5 but sacrifices have
to be made.
        and while I'm commenting on this thread:  I think Cologne or even
Kasumi would be a decent Kosh, more so Cologne.  (I know Kosh is dead but
it wouldn't be as much fun without Kosh.)  I doubt someones going to write
something that follows the entire B5 storyline anyway.  I don't even think
you need to preserve the genders of the B5 cast.  If a character seems
suited to a role go with it, not that we know what Kosh would be anyway.
Nabiki would be good in Psicorps.  As for Sinclair... I dunno Happosai?
yeesh.. maybe we can leave Sinclair out.
        Also I think Ukyou has a closer personality to Ivonova than Akane.
Not that I think either one is that close mind you.  Ivonova is not quite
so tempermental as Akane.  Ukyou is more indepentant and such.
