Welcome. You just opened your first pack of Ani-Mayhem and read the
rules. Now what? Well, this guide is supose to help you. If it can or not,
well...

Lets look at the combat cards (the ones with red piping in the back).
Notice that thay got the card devided in half, with a combat effect on one
side, and a charm effect on the other. Basicly, you have to deside what you
want to focus on, heavy combat, or heavy charm. Also note that many of theas
cards are penatlies instead of bonuses. Thats because Disasters (both major
and minor) will also use YOUR combat deck. You WANT them to draw penatlies why
you draw bonuses.

Also keep in mind that your combat deck counts when you have to add
Disasters.

Locations are the cards with the green piping on back. Thair are some
stragity involve in locations. You WANT locations in which half your charaters
have at least one skill to atempt. You also may want locations your oponent
can not get to without help (planet or dimention places, for example). Also,
sometimes you might want a place with an attack stat (which damages eveyone
who lands thair, EXCEPT for Disasters). And Havens (or places which can be
made INTO Havens) can be helpfull also (as you can equip thair, AND oponents
MUST ask if thay can stop thair. Disasters can NEVER stop at Havens).

Charaters may be the most tricky choice you have. You can have 6 on the
board at one time, but you can have many in your draw deck. Also, you are
limited to one of each charater card (EX: You can have a P-Chan and a Ryouga
Habiki, but you CAN NOT have 2 Ranma Saotome (boy type) cards in play).

     Your choices are:
      1) Combat chars (Charaters with a huge Attack and Defence stat).
      2) Charm chars (Charaters with a huge Charm star).
      3) Unuseal bonuses (Chars which does somthing besides Attack, Defence,
and Charm. EX: With Dr. Tofu in the group, the group is imune to Bonks and
Kills, but Dr. Tofu dosen't get any actions if Kasumi (a Global Power Card) is
in play).
      4) Your favroet chars.

Note that feacher charaters are commom (like Ranma and Tenchi), but
suporting charaters are harder to find (like Dr. Tofu).

Thair are three difrent types of Power Cards. You do want SOME in your
deck. So, which ones?

Equipment can be helpfull, as it usaly gives bonuses to Attack (and other
stats), gives skills, or even acts like vehicals. But equipment CAN be stolen,
broken, ect... And you must go off the board to equip (but, on the pluss side,
equipment IS transfurable).

Enchantments are like equipment, but thay can not be stolen or transered.
And you don't have to remove the charater from the board to equip with an
enchantment. But bewair, for some disasters remove enchantments. Some flashes
remove enchantments also (depending on who or what).

Flashes are fast effects which only affect whatever one charater is doing
right now. Some flash effects requier that the charater has a serten amount of
Energy to use (great example, Shi Chi Hadoken, Ryouga's depresion fuled wave
punch).

Disasters come in two virieties, Disasters (which go in a curcit once,
then disapear), and Disasters! (which curcit the board untill defeated). You
must have as much Disasters as you have Action Cards, Location Cards, Combat
Cards, and Item Cards (oppes, not Action, Power). And 1/3 of all Disasters
must be Disasters! . The choces in your deck are theas: what disasters can I
easly overcome, what disasters will give my oponent a hissy fit. With theas
choices, deside on what you can defeat, and what you think your oponent can't
defeat.

Finaly, Items are the gole of the game. Items are transfurable, and
stealable. Sometimes you will have to discard an item to defeat a disaster.
Discarder items count for your gole. And the gole is to recover more than half
the items on the board. Remember, you must have one item per location (and two
disasters per location) for the start of the game.

So, go out thair and kick some otaku but.
