Okay, just wanna check something with you people...

When two series intermingle it's called a CROSSOVER, right?
So, how about when you take characters/concepts from
one series and stuff them into the characters/concepts
from other series?  Say, for example, like the
Ranma 1/2 - Star Wars thing that was done recently.
Somehow, the term CROSSOVER doesn't seem suitable.
Someone else used the term FUSION, that seemed to
be more approriate... although I noticed that the
fanfic guide doesn't use this term.  Oh well, sorry
'bout the rant.
