Ranma dropped to the dojo floor. She thought to herself a moment, "Why did I have to get Akane mad on one of her pissy mood days?" She was still mad at him from the incident earlier. The plumbing in the Tendo household had stopped up and Ranma's father, Mr. Tendo, and him were working on fixing it. Well, Ranma fixed it. Not before he got blasted with a wave of freezing cold water though. As it turned out, Akane was passing by as this happened. She didn't like being sprayed, so she wacked him upside the head with her mallet (the bruise was still there). That wasn't enough though. Akane then dragged him into the dojo and proceeded to beat the shit out of him. So all in all, he wasn't having a good day. Ranma-Chan finally climbed to her feet and gathered herself, just as Akane blasted her with a punch square in the jaw. Now she was back were she started, on the floor. "Allright, now I'm mad!" Said Ranma under her breath. She flipped onto her feet and kicked Akane in the face, then connected with a solid punch to her stomach. Now it was Akane's turn to be on the floor. Akane flipped up and started to charge toward Ranma. Ranma in turn started to charge toward her. Before they could collide, a very fimiliar looking weapon came crashing through the dojo wall and hit Ranma in the back of the head. A larger hole appeared, Shampoo then stepped through it. "Nihao Ranma! You take Shampoo out on date today yes?" Said Shampoo with a smile on her face. "Shampoo, just leave me alone alright?" Said Ranma in a depressed tone of voice. "Ranma looked depressed. Take Shampoo to date and you no be depressed no more. It be fun." Said Shampoo, just as happyily as before. At that, Shampoo leaped toward Ranma and threw herself on to him. "S-Shampoo, come on." Said Ranma nervously. Suddenly, she saw Shampoo leap of her, only in time to meet Akane's fist. "Ranma, stop your flirting!" Yelled Akane in his face. "Ummphmeshumpumbff." Muttered Ranma, still under Akane's fist. Akane got up and walked inside. Ranma got to her feet as a big pot suddenly flew and hit her in the face, it's hot contents spilling on her. "Aaah, that's hot!" Screamed Ranma, running around in a frenzy. Just then, Ukyou came flying in through Shampoo's hole in the wall. "Ranma honey, whats wrong?" Asked Ukyou. Ranma stopped running around, "Oh nothing, nothing at all." Said Ranma bitterly. Ukyou turned around to see Shampoo, staring at her hatefully. "Oh, you." Said Ukyou bitterly. "Shampoo no like you either." Said Shampoo just as hatefully as the look in her eyes. "Well, I sure didn't come here to see you, so I'll get to the point." Said Ukyou cheerfully. "Ranma honey, why don't you come down to the restaurant tonight? We've been bringing in so much money lately, we can afford a freebie." "Uh, yeah sure Ukyou. I'll be there." Said Ranma. "Great! See ya later!" Said Ukyou happily as she kissed Ranma on the cheek and exited through the hole in the wall. "Shampoo no like that one." Said Shampoo under her breath. She then turned to Ranma with a cheery look on her face, "Ranma, you take Shampoo with you to restaurant?" Ranma didn't think this was such a good idea (Ukyou and Shampoo weren't exactly the best of friends), but when he saw the look in her eyes, he couldn't say no. "Yeah sure Shampoo." Said Ranma. He gave her a quick smile and went inside. EXACTLY ONE HOUR AGO... Shampoo had been thinking about Ranma. It was about time she finally got Ranma to marry her. After all this time she had hoped he would marry her, but those hopes were false. She knew what stood in the way of their marriage, two people. Ukyou and Akane. She had tried to kill Akane, but she was always to close to Ranma. Ukyou was at her restaurant most of the time however, all alone. She was sure no one could accuse her if Ukyou were to say, die. She didn't know how she would do it though... PRESENT Now she knew how. Before they went to the restaurant, she would kill Ukyou and be back in time to make herself look innocent. It seemed the perfect plan. Inside the Tendo house, Ranma had just gotten ready to go visit Ukyou's Restaurant (As it turns out, everyone else wanted to come too). He looked out the window to the dojo, where did Shampoo go? Oh well, probably just to get ready. "I should go over to the restaurant early to tell Ukyou how man people are coming, or she might get mad and wack me with her spatula or something." Said Ranma outloud to himself. With that, Ranma walked out the door heading toward Ukyou's. Akane was up in her room lying on her bed. She had cooled down quite a bit now. "Well, it's not like anyone can blame me for being mad." Akane thought to herself. "With Ranma's flirting and him spraying me like that! Ooh, sometimes he gets me so mad!" Then Akane had another thought, "Why am I getting so mad over something as little as this?" A lot lately, Akane had been mad at Ranma over the littlest things. She had also been experiencing something else lately, toward Ranma. She wasn't quite sure, but it might have been why she was always so angry at him. She thought that feeling was love. She wasn't sure how to deal with it either. She didn't want to go up to Ranma and say "I love you!", but she didn't want to bury it either. Akane closed her eyes in deep thought, then she remembered "We're going to Ukyou's restaurant tonight! I'd better get ready!" She jumped out of bed and started to prepare herself. Shampoo was now on the roof of Ukyou's restaurant. "Yes, this would be it! After tonight Ranma would have no more choices but me or Akane!" Thought Shampoo. She slipped in a side window and pulled out a sword. It appeared she was in an attic. This wasn't exactly what she had planned for, but it would have to do. She approached the door that hopefully lead her out of the attic, and tried to open it. That didn't work. "Hmmm, don't want to make noise, so what now?" Shampoo asked herself. After a moments hesitation, "I break it down anyway!" She said confidently. She gave it a good chop with her sword. I didn't move. She tried slamming in to it. It didn't move. "Why door not break down?" Thought a very confused Shampoo. Ukyou had just pushed the last table out from the storage room. She wiped her forehead and sighed. She was in the middle of remodeling her restaurant. She had all the tables and chairs piled against the attic door. Just a minute ago, she could have sworn she heard a banging on the attic door, but that was impossible. She cleared the thought from her mind and looked at her watch, "Oh no, in half an hour Ranma will be here!" She shreaked. At this, she bolted over to the grill and started cooking as fast as she could. Ranma approached the door to Ukyou's restaurant and went in. "Ukyou, you here?" Asked Ranma. This made Ukyou jump out of her skin, "Ranma honey, what are you doing here so early?" Asked a shaky and surprised Ukyou. "Just thought I'd drop by and tell you that we're gonna have a big guest list." Ranma said. When Ukyou invited him over, she figured he would come alone. This would have been the night she would win him over. Oh well, there would be other nights. "It's allright, I'm ready." Ukyou said confidently. "Great, then I'll just hang around here and wait." Said Ranma as he started to stroll around. All of the sudden the attic door busted open, and Shampoo jumped out. "Ukyou, I ki...Ranma!" Yelled Shampoo throwing herself into Ranma's arms. "Shampoo, whats going on?" Asked Ranma in a shocked tone. "I will not have this in my restaurant!" Yelled Ukyou. She took her spatula and wacked Ranma with it. Just then Akane and the others walked in. "Ranma how could you!?" Yelled Akane as she ran toward Ranma with her mallet. At this point, Ranma was tired of taking all this abuse. He got up and started to run toward the door. Suddenly a fimiliar figure appeared in from of him, "Ranma darling, at last I've found you!" It was Kodachi. Ranma jumped over her head and started running down the street. "Why me, why me, why me?" He asked himself as he ran. "Ranma get back here!" Yelled Akane and Ukyou in stereo. "Ranma, come back to Shampoo!" Yelled Shampoo. "Ranma darling wait for me!" Cried Kodachi. If Ranma had been watching where he was going, he would have seen the man carrying a bucket of water in front of him. They collided and unfortunately for Ranma, the water was cold. Ranma, now Ranma-Chan got up and proceeded to run for his life. "This has to stop!" Said Ranma. "I can't take it anymore!" END OF PART 1 PART 2: MAKE UP YOUR MIND RANMA! Roughly and hour ago, Ranma had run back to the Tendo Dojo, and things had more or less settled down. Ranma-Chan was sitting on the floor feeling sorry for herself. "Why does all the bad stuff gotta happen to me?" Ranma asked herself outloud. Akane was sitting across the room glancing at her, whenever she looked at her he got an angry look in return. Whenever Akane wasn't yelling at him, she was staring at him kinda spacy like."I'll never understand women." Thought Ranma. "Even though I am sorta one." Immediately she banished that thought from her head. "I am a man, or else I wouldn't have all these girls chasing me and stuff." She thought. Suddenly, Ranma's father came storming in to the living room. Akane immediately left the room, but from around the corner listened. "Listen to me Ranma!" Said Genma. Ranma jumped to her feet in surprise. Noticing that Ranma was female, he left the room and came back a few minutes later with a bucket of water. Without warning, he dumped the scolding water over Ranma's head. "Youch! Whatcha do that for pop!?" Yelled a shocked Ranma. "Listen up Ranma! This is important!" Yelled Genma, even angrier than before. "I'm listening, I'm listening!" Yelled Ranma back. "You can't be so fickle boy! You need to choose one of them!" Yelled Genma. "Choose who!?" Asked Ranma. "A fiancee! It's got to be done Ranma! This is taking a toll on everyone in this household!" Yelled Genma. "Pop, I'm not really up to this right now!" Said an irrated Ranma. "Well then when will you be up to it huh Ranma!?" Asked Genma. "Listen pop, everyone has been getting on my case for everything lately! I'm getting damn sick of it!" Shouted Ranma in return. An angrier look appeared on Genma's face. He grabbed Ranma's arm and flung him in to the wall at the other end of the room. "Boy, you can't go on like this forever! You have to pick one of them! And it had better be Akane or god knows what will happen to you!" Shouted Genma. "Oh, way to take the pressure off me pop! If I have to chose, at least let me make up my own mind!" Yelled an even more agitated Ranma. "Fine then Ranma! But you just remember what I said. " Said Genma as he left the room. After their little arguement, Kasumi and Nabiki came walking in to the room. "Oh my Ranma, what was your father so mad at you for?" Asked a concerned Kasumi. "Yeah Ranma, what did you do now?" Asked Nabiki with a sly grin on her face. "Not now you guys." Ranma said as he walked away rubbing the back of his head. "Geez, he didn't have to throw me in to the wall!" Said Ranma outloud. His father was right though, he should decide. He won't have his whole life to decide, and he was getting tired of being chased around. He felt he should chose Akane because they were already engaged, but then again he was also engaged t Ukyou and Shampoo. He also knew for a fact that he wouldn't chose Kodachi. So yes, that left the three of them. He had a certain "love" for each of them. Akane was what he considered his fiancee, so he kinda loved her because of that. He loved Ukyou because he had known her for so long, and she was his best friend. His love for Shampoo was because she was so cute, and she would do just about anything for him. "Oh god, how can I cope with this!?" Screamed Ranma to himself. He sat down outside of the Tendo Training Hall and closed his eyes. Suddenly, he heard footsteps next to him. He opened his eyes to see a figure in a black and yellow bandana. "Ryoga!" Ranma shouted. "Surprise you Saotome?" Asked Ryouga slyly. Ranma didn't answer, instead he buried his face i his hands and moaned. "Whats your problem?" Asked Ryoga. "My dad's making me chose a fiancee. Ya know, Shampoo, Ukyou, or Akane." Said a depressed Ranma. At this Ryoga jumped, "If I can persuade him to chose one of them besides Akane, she'll be all mine!" Thought Ryoga. "Hmmm. You sound like you could use a little help working out this problem Ranma." Said Ryoga with a sudden friendliness. "Why would you want to help me?" Asked Ranma. "Well, its about time I started being a better friend." Said Ryoga with a grin. "Allright, if you say so." Said Ranma, a bit confused. "Who do you think you should take as your fiancee?" Asked Ryoga. "Well thats the problem!" Said Ranma. "I'm not exactly sure. They all have their good and bad points." "Gotta figure out a way to draw him away from Akane." Thought Ryoga. "Say Ranma, do you love Akane?" Asked Ryoga intently. "Well, kinda. Because shes my fiancee though." Said Ranma. "Thats the only reason you love her at all?" Asked Ryoga, a smile forming on his face. "Pretty much." Said Ranma, looking more depressed. "Good!" Thought an extremely happy Ryoga, "Now shes mine for sure!" "Well Ranma, good luck deciding!" Said Ryoga as he ran off. "Hey Ryoga! What about helping me?" Asked Ranma. "Stupid jerk!" Ranma buried his head in his hands again. Suddenly a thought occurred to Ranma, "Why don't I decide who to marry by going out with each of them!?" It seemed like a good thought to Ranma, so he skipped off, leaving his depression behind. "Ok, heres how it goes. I'll ask each one of 'em to go on a date or something like that!" Said Ranma to himself outloud. He thought he should start with Akane since she was right here. "Hey Akane!" He yelled. "You wanna go out on a date tommorrow?" This surprised the hell out of Akane. "Ranma, what are you talking about?" Asked Akane, a bit confused. "I'm serious!" Said Ranma, a bit offended. "Aaah, yea sure Ranma...I guess so." Said Akane. "Great!" Yelled Ranma as he ran down the street. Akane was a very shocked state right now. "Why on earth would Ranma aske me on a date? Is it some kind of trick?" Akane asked herself. No it couldn't have been. "Well, I guess it's a date then." Said Akane as she walked back inside. Ranma was on his way down the street to see Ukyou, but suddenly a bike crashed down on his head. Instantly Ranma knew who it was, "Ranma, you take Shampoo to date now yes?" Asked an excited Shampoo. Ranma pulled himself up and then a grin spread across his face, "Not today Shampoo, but how about tommorrow?" Asked Ranma. "You serious!?" Shrieked Shampoo, "You really take Shampoo to date tommorrow? "Yup." Replied Ranma, now a little embarressed. Just then, a sort of upset look crossed Shampoo's face, "Why you take Shampoo to date now and never before?" Asked Shampoo very curiously. Ranma thought that there was no harm in telling her, "Well, I'm trying to figure out who I should have my fiancee be." Said Ranma. A very pleased look crossed Shampoo's face, "You choose Shampoo right Ranma?" Asked Shampoo very eagerly. "Well, if I find that I really love you." Said Ranma,a little nervously. "That will be me anyway." Said Shampoo, then she happily skipped back into the Nekohanten. "One down and two to go." Said Ranma to himself. Ukyou had just finished remodeling her restaurant, and was having one of her usual busy days. Ranma dashed in to the restaurant, jumped over the counter and tapped Ukyou on the shoulder. Once again, Ukyou jumped out of her skin, "Ranma honey, what are you doing here?" Asked Ukyou, shaken up. "Ukyou, you wanna go on a date tommorrow?" Asked Ranma (prepared for a big reaction). A smile spread across Ukyou's face, "Sure, tommorrow it is then!" She then went back to cooking. Ranma jumped back over the counter and went back out the door, he was prepared for a bigger reaction, but it was allright. "Finally I'll be free of all of 'em chasing me and stuff!" Said Ranma. Suddenly, a nearby garbage can sprouted legs and walked into Ukyou's restaurant, followed by a loud cry from Ukyou, "TSUBASA!!!" He then heard a sound like Ukyou's spatula makes when it hits someone in the head, and Tsubasa flew over the horizon. Ranma was more happy then he had ever been in a long time. He started to whistle a tune to himself when suddenly he heard someone yell, "Ranma Saotome, prepare to die!!" There was only one person he knew stupid enough to throw away the element of surprise like that, Kuno. He turned around and connected a fist into Kuno's face. After Kuno had recovered, he stood up and looked at Ranma hatefully, "It seems that you plan on taking the fair maiden Akane Tenod out on a...date!!" Said an outraged Kuno. "I will not have an insulent welt such as you in the company of Akane!" At that, Kuno started thrashing at Ranma wildly, only to be met by another fist. "I don't have time for this." Said Ranma as he lept to a building top. As he turned around, he saw yet another annoyance, "Ryoga, what do you want now!?" Asked a frustrated Ranma. "I want your head Saotome!" Screamed Ryoga as he lept toward Ranma. Ranma quickly executed a flip kick, and it connected to Ryoga's face. Ryoga quickly bounded back up, "Taking Akane out ah?" Asked a very pissed off Ryoga. Again he lept toward Ranma, only this time pulling out his umberulla. Ki blasts rocketed in all directions, several hitting Ranma. He fell off the building top and in to someone's backyard pool. He emerged Ranma-Chan. Kunou suddenly bounded over the fence charging toward Ranma, "Pigtailed girl, I love you!" "Oh god!" Shouted Ranma as she ran down the street. As she was running a thought popped in to her head, "All three of my dates are tommorrow!" END OF PART 2 PART 3:DILEMAS IN EVERY DIRECTION "Oh jeez, what do I do now?" Thought Ranma to herself, still being pursued by Kuno. "Pigtailed girl, come back to me my love!" Yelled an obsessed Kuno. "I gotta get rid of that guy too." Thought Ranma. Suddenly from a nearby apartment he heard women screaming, followed by a voice saying "What a haul! What a haul!" Ranma only knew one person that perverted, Happosai. "Hey you letch, come take my shirt!" Yelled Ranma to Happosai. "Hmmm, don't mind if I do!" Said Happosai with a grin on his face. He dove off the building, as he closed in on Ranma, Ranma kicked him and stole a bomb. She tossed it backward and heard an explosion, followed by Kunou flying through the air. She ran through the Tendo Dojo door, and threw herself on the floor. Now back to her original problem, finding out what to do about three dates in one day. "I gotta be sneaky about this." Thought Ranma. "As soon as I get done with one date, I go to the other, and then the next!" Ranma (being happy with herself) went dashing out to find her dad and tell him about his plan (well at least some of it). Ryoga lay motionless in a pile of rubble. No activity was going on in his body, except for a slight heartbeat. He was hanging on to life by the skind of his teeth. AFTER RANMA FELL OF THE BUILDING TOP Ryoga was so mad. He thought this was the maddest he had ever been. He wanted Akane with all his heart, but Ranma always had to take away whatever he wanted. He couldn't contain his ki energy any longer. He let out all of his rage in one big blast in to the air. Unfortunately, the ki blast landed and hit him full force, leveling the building in the process. PRESENT Ryoga had been hit with his strongest ki blast and a building had fallen on top of him. He was not having a good day. Ukyou thought it was a nice day for a walk. Everything had went her way today. She had gotten compliments on her remodeling job, and Ranma had finally asked her out on a date! She decided to close the restaurant early and take a walk. She noticed the rubble. This was nothing unusual for this city. Fights always broke out, and property was always damaged. She started to pass by the rubble, when she heard a fimiliar voice, "Help...me." It was very faint, but she understood it. She pulled out her spatula and started to dig through the rubble. She found someone lying there, it was Ryoga! She picked him up and put him on her shoulder. She struggled to get him back to her restaurant. Once inside, she immediately called Dr.Tofu and told him about the emergency. TWO HOURS LATER Ryoga's wounds were healing progressively, but he was still unconscious. Ukyou sat in the chair next to the bed Ryoga was in. She was worried sick about him. Since she had found him, she felt that it was her responsibility to take care of him. She rewetted the cloth on Ryoga's head and placed it back on. He also had a big fever. Ukyou gave a sigh, "Why did I have to find him? Geez, he's got me worried sick!" Said Ukyou. Dr. Tofu had told her that he may have some strange reactions due to the immense amounts of ki power he was radiating. Ukyou went over to check on his temperature. She felt his head, he was freezing! She ran around her restaurant looking for blankets, but found none. She could only think of one way to help him. She crawled in bed next to him slowly, hesitating. She wrapped Ryoga up in her arms, keeping as much distance from him as she could without letting go. She then slowly drew in closer to him. She then realized how tired she was. "It won't hurt to take a short nap." Ukyou said to herself. She then (without knowing it) layed her head on Ryoga's chest and drifted off to sleep. About an hour later she woke up and saw what she had done. "I slept with him?" Ukyou asked herself in disbelief. She felt Ryoga's head, he was better. She quickly jumped out of the bed. Just as she did, Ryoga got up out of bed. "Where am I?" Asked Ryoga. "Your at my resaurant." Said Ukyou. "I found you buried under that building and...then...I took care of you. "You didn't have to you know." Said Ryoga, a little embarressed. "Oh yes, I did!" Said Ukyou. "Well, I'm glad you did." Said Ryoga, "I really appreciate it." Ryoga smiled at her. He started to walk toward the door. "Wait! Where are you going?" Asked Ukyou. "Where I always go, nowhere..." Said Ryoga as he walked away. "You can't just leave!" Said Ukyou. It seemed that she had developed a sort of caring for him. "I won't let you just leave like this!" Insisted Ukyou. Ryoga himself had kind of a feeling toward her, but it wasn't as strong as hers toward him. "Why should I stay?" Asked Ryoga, kind of shocked at her reaction. "Well, you aren't fully healed yet. You might do something to hurt yourself again." Said Ukyou, hoping for a good reaction. "Well, I guess it won't hurt to stay a little while. Just until Ranma chooses his fiancee." Said Ryoga, still a little confused. Ukyou had forgotten about that. Tommorrow she would win Ranma's heart, but then she remembered Ryoga. "Hes just a friend!" Ukyou thought, "Ranma is who I really want!" "Great!" Said Ukyou. "Make yourself at home." Ukyou walked downstairs, but she had forgotten about Ryoga's lousy since of direction. Ten minutes later, she hadn't seen Ryoga. "Where did that fool get lost at?" Asked Ukyou to herself. She soon found him approaching the attic stairs, "Aah, no Ryoga. Thats the attic." Said Ukyou with a smile. "Oh, sorry." Said a blushing Ryoga. "It's ok." Said Ukyou, "Here, give me a hand cleaning up for the night." "Tommorrow is the big day!" Said Ranma to himself. "When I decide once and for all who is my fiancee!" Genma Saotome cam walking in to the room and sat next to Ranma. "Ranma, I think theres something I need to bring to your attention." "Yeah, whats that?" Asked Ranma. "That if you don't chose Akane as your fiancee, we won't have anyplace to go." Said Genma, trying to stay calm. "Pop, I'm sure there is some other place we could go. Anyway, I gotta make up my mind on my own. I'm not about to spend the rest of my life with Akane if I don't love her, so I gotta see if I do or not." Said Ranma. " I suppose your right Ranma." Said Genma with a sigh. Ranma was surprised at his fathers reaction. Usually he was so set on getting his way. "Thanks for understanding pop." Said Ranma as he put a hand on his fathers shoulder. "Just chose well Ranma, and let your heart decide." Said Genma, and then left the room. "Let my heart decide." Repeated Ranma, "It think my hearts the only thing left I can trust." Akane lay on her bed again, thinking. This was her first date with Ranma, and she was not at all sure what to do. Ranma and her have never really shown any outward love toward each other before. How would they manage to get through a whole date? And without fighting? It seemed near impossible. "I have to let my heart be my guide." Said Akane. She believed that was the only way she would get through tommorrow. Could Ranma be feeling the same love toward her that she was toward him? Sometimes he could be a jerk, but deep down inside she thought she loved him. She just wasn't sure how to deal with it! God damn it! Why couldn't her and Ranma get along! Shampoo was helping Cologne close down the Raman restaurant for the night. Cologne was overjoyed when she heard the news of Shampoo and Ranma's date. "Finally." Thought Cologne, "He will marry my Shampoo and become a member of our family!" Shampoo had been in a great mood all day, "Tommorrow is big date with Ranma!" She thought. "Ranma finally marry Shampoo after tommorrow!" She said to Cologne. "Lets hope so Shampoo." Replied Cologne. Ukyou was sitting on the porch to her restaurant. Tommorrow she and Ranma would finally go out. She would convince him that she should be the one to marry him. There was also a feeling of regret along with that feeling of hope. A regret as if there was another besides Ranma."No!" Said Ukyou, "Ryoga is just a friend!" Then she walked back inside. END OF PART 3 PART 4: GUIDING WINDS Ranma was prepared for his big day today. He had established with all three of his dates that they were all going to the movies. Not only that, but they all wanted to see the same movie. Ranma didn't think that would be a problem though. "Akane, you ready?" Asked Ranma. "Just a second Ranma." Said Akane. She came out of the bathroom. She wasn't wearing anything special, just her normal clothes. Ranma wasn't surprised. Why should she wear something special? It was just a normal date after all. "You look nice." Said Ranma, as he offered her a hand. Ranma was serious about deciding, "No fighting or anything on this date." He told himself. "Ranma, I don't believe you've ever said that to me before." Said Akane a little flattered. She knew he was just saying that, but she didn't care. She took his hand, and they walked out, heading toward the movie theater. Akane was the only one of the three girls that had no intentions on winning his heart on this date. Well, she did in a way. She had no idea though, that this date was to determine if she would be his fiancee or not. "Ranma, theres something I think I should tell you." Said Akane nervously. Ranma gave her an acknowledging glance. "It really means a lot to me, you asking me out on this date and all." Said Akane. Ranma was absolutely speechless, he had no idea what to say to that. "Aah, n-no problem Akane." Was all Ranma could force out. "God that sounded stupid!" Thought Ranma. He wanted to hit himself. They walked in the door to the movie theater and got their seats. They were about to see some kind of new martial arts sex-comedy movie. Ranma wasn't to excited, but he had to make the best of it. He started to think a little bit about Akane. Had he even had any other dates with her before? Not that he remembered. They have had their moments though, moments when he had been happy to be engaged to Akane. Like the time they went figure skating, or in the school play. Day by day, that feeling was slipping away though. Ukyou and Shampoo were so much nicer to him. He had to judge fairly though. He noticed Akane was paying attention to the movie, "Geez, how can she watch this stuff?" Muttered Ranma. "Whats that?" Asked Akane as she looked over at Ranma. "Oh nothing." Said Ranma with a smile. Akane returned his smile and went back to watching the movie. Obviously, Akane couldn't have thought the movie was that interesting, because she fell asleep. Ranma had actually started watching the movie. He even found that it related to his life a little. Especially the part were the three girls were chasing the male star. He brushed it off as coincidence. He felt something touch his shoulder. He looked over to see Akane's head on his shoulder. Ranma poked her lightly. "Yup, she fell asleep." Said Ranma. It felt good for him to be at peace with Akane. By the time the movie was over, he thought the date had gone pretty well. Akane was a little embarressed when she woke up right next to Ranma, but that feeling quickly passed. They were silent the whole way back to the Tendo house. Ranma walked her up to the door and stopped. "I had a great time Ranma." Said Skane, staring in to his eyes. "So did I Akane." Said Ranma, staring in to hers. There eyes transfixed for a long moment.Then something totally unexpected to both Ranma and Akane happened, they kissed. After the kiss they continued to stare at each other in the same manner. Suddenly Ranma snapped out of it, "Uh, I have to go Akane." Said Ranma as she started to run down the street. "See you later Ranma." Said Akane, a little dissapointed. She thought the date had gone really well too. Her and Ranma hadn't fought the whole time. She also kind of liked being alone with him. At the Nekohanten, Cologne had just called Shampoo over to her, "I have something for you." Said Cologne with a smile. She pulled out a sparkling neclace from her robes. "For many generations, this necklace has brought good luck to the women of the Amazon when they were courting with other men." Said Cologne slyly. "Now I would like you to have it." "Really great grannie?" Asked Shampoo very pleased. Cologne just gave her a nod. "Shampoo no disappoint you!" Exclaimed Shampoo. Then she ran in back and started to get ready. Ranma turned the corner and was at the doorstep of the Nekohanten. The only thing he was hoping for on this date was to avoid a certain someone, "Hello son-in-law." Said the person he had wanted to avoid. "Finally decided to marry my shampoo ah?" Asked Cologne with a grin. "Hey, who said anything about marrying her?" Asked Ranma, "I'm just taking her on a date." "Very well, I'll get her." Said Cologne, hopping back inside. A few minutes later, a very happy Shampoo came jumping out the door and landed next to Ranma, "Nihao Ranma! We go on date now yes!?" Asked Shampoo excitedly. "Yup, lets get going." Said Ranma, also fairly happy. Today, he didn't care how much Shampoo tried to flirt with him. Him and Shampoo walked toward the movie theater. She was wearing the dress that Ranma thought she looked really good in (from the OAV part 1). As they took their seats, Ranma thought of what it would be like to be married to Shampoo. She was a good cook, great looking, strong, had big bre..." Ranma stopped himself there, "No! I can't marry someone because of that! It has to be because of love!" Thought Ranma. Ranma reached into his pocket only to find out he had no money. "Oh shit!" Said Ranma. "Ranma, what wrong?" Asked Shampoo, a little concerned. "Uh, I forgot my money back at the house." Said Ranma. Ranma grabbed Shampoo's arm and started darting back toward the Tendo house. "You wait right here." Said Ranma, afraid of someone seeing them and him getting beaten up. He quietly snuck up the stairs past Nabiki and Kasumi, and into his room. "Got it!" He said trimphuntly as he grabbed his yen. He then snuck back down and out to Shampoo. Akane was staring out her window, when she saw something that caught her eye. It was Ranma with Shampoo! "How could he!" Said Akane. "After he just got done taking me on a date!" She balled up a fist and broke the headboard on her bead into 4 pieces. She then started rubbing her fist. "And I thought he actually started liking me." Said Akane. This time she was more than just a little disappointed. Shampoo and Ranma just arrived in the theater and were both watching the movie. "Watch out, that guys the killer." Said Ranma with a mouth full of popcorn. "What you say?" Asked Shampoo. "Oh nothing." Said Ranma with an innocent smile. Suddenly Shampoo jumped as the ninja jumped out of the wall on to his sensai. "Yeah, I jumped at that part too." Said Ranma, laughing to himself. "You see movie before?" Asked Shampoo, now a little suspicious. "Oh no!" Said Ranma, realizing he was almost stuck in a rut, "What ever would make you say that?" Then they both went back to watching the movie in silence. Shampoo layed her head on his shoulder just as Akane had. Ranma didn't try to pry her off as he usually did though, this was a date after all. "Shampoo no understand why you no marry her." Said Shampoo in a whisper. "Shampoo always so good to you." Then Shampoo started to cry. Ranma was not expecting this, "Aw Shampoo, don't cry." Said Ranma, a little frustrated. "I just wanna decide who I really love. Come on, you can understand that." Said Ranma, although he didn't think that she could. Shampoo's sobbing suddenly stopped, "Shampoo understand. She just get a little carried away, that all." Said Shampoo in a serious tone. Once again, Shampoo surprised Ranma. This was a side of Shampoo he had never seen before. He kind of liked her better when she was more serious. Shampoo got up out of her seat, "I go to bathroom, you hold necklace for me Ranma?" Asked Shampoo. "Sure." Said Ranma, taking the sparkling necklace from Shampoo. "Nice necklace." Said Ranma, slightly impressed. "I wonder where she got it?" Ranma put it in his pocket, taking care not to break it or anything. Awhile later Shampoo came back from the bathroom and they started wathcing the movie again. The rest of the movie went by in total silence between them. As they were walking back to the restaurant, Shampoo turned and looked at him. "Shampoo, sorry for acting like a fool." She said,"It just that...that Shampoo love you." She said, and then turned away. To Ranma's surprise, Cologne was not waiting at the doorstep. "See you later Shampoo." Said Ranma. Shampoo walked inside and waved goodbye. Ranma sighed, and walked down the street to Ukyou's. Ukyou was at the doorstep, waiting for Ranma. "Hey Ukyou, where ya going?" Asked Ryoga, with kind of a disoriented look on his face. It had taken him an hour to find his way to the stairs leading to the restaurant, and then to Ukyou. "Just out for a little bit." Said Ukyou, "I'll be back soon." Ukyou went dashing out the door. "Why is she in such a hurry?" Asked Ryoga. "Oh well, I'll just find something to eat." Ukyou met Ranma a little ways down the street, "Hey, I thought I was supposed to pick you up?" Asked Ranma. "Well uh, I just thought I'd meet you." Said Ukyou with a smile. As they walked toward the theater, Ranma noticed Ukyou had a distracted look on her face. "Something wrong?" Asked Ranma. "No, nothing." Said Ukyou nervously. "Well it sounded like something to me." Said Ranma under his breath. "Well it was nothing okay!?" Yelled Ukyou in his face. "Alright alright." Said Ranma, still not really believing her. "Sorry." Muttered Ukyou, "I didn't mean to blow up at you like that." "It's alright." Said Ranma, giving her a little smile. Ukyou gave him a forced smile back. Through most of the movie Ukyou was silent, as if she had something on her mind. Ranma didn't bug her about it anymore though. When the part came up where the ninja jumped out at his sensai, Ukyou gave a little jump as well. Ranma started laughing outloud, "That's twice now!" Said Ranma between laughs. Once he realized everyone was staring at him, he quit laughing and slouched back in his seat. Ukyou was staring at him with sort of an annoyed look on her face. "What are you talking about?" She asked, still annoyed. "Ah, nothing. Nothing at all." Said Ranma. Using that innocent smile to try to get him out of this rut too. Ukyou went back to wathcing the movie, shaking her head. Just then a fimiliar figure appeared in front of Ranma, "S-S-Shampoo!" Exclaimed Ranma. "What the hell...er, what are you doing here?" Asked Ranma, now visibly sweating. "Shampoo come to get necklace, she leave it with you." Said Shampoo. Ranma quickly handed it to her with a smile on her face. He turned toward Ukyou, only to see her scowling at him. Shampoo then looked over at her and gasped, "Ranma, why you here with her?" Asked a scocked Shampoo. "He just so happens to be taking me on a da.." Ukyou couldn't quite finish because Ranma put a hand over her mouth. "Shampoo no care, after you leave Ranma I kill you!" Said Shampoo with a smile as she walked out, refastening her necklace. Ukyou didn't seem to care why Shampoo was there, or take her threat that seriously for the rest of the time there. On the way back to the U-Chan, Ukyou had that depressed look on her face again, "Ukyou, you wanna talk about it? You know I'm here for ya." Said Ranma, a little concerned. "You always have been here for me, and I appreciate that. But this is a problem I have to work out on my own." Said Ukyou with a sigh. She gave Ranma a kiss and walked back inside the U-Chan. Ryoga had seen what Ukyou had rushed out in such a hurry for. He had gotten lost and appeared to be in some kind of room with a bed in it. He ran into the window by accident, and saw Ukyou kiss Ranma. He was a fool to think someone could love him over Ranma, he always took whatever he had away from him. "Where are you Ryoga?" Asked Ukyou. Ryoga had now wondered into a closet. He replied in a whiny voice, "I don't know." Ukyou went toward the sound of his voice and helped him out of the closet. "Come on Ryoga, lets go downstairs." Said Ukyou, leading him by the hand. Once they were to the stairs, Ryoga broke away from Ukyou. "Ukyou, tommorrow I leave." END OF PART 4 PART 5: THE DECISION Tables flew into rubble as Ukyou collided with them. "Maybe I should have taken her threat seriously." Said Ukyou under her breath. About 15 minutes ago, Shampoo had broken into her restaurant and started up a fight. "Shampoo get you back for trying to take Ranma away!" Yelled Shampoo as she hurled a table at Ukyou. Ukyou got up and pulled out her titanic (kick-ass!) spatula she swung it at Shampoo but missed. Shampoo bounded off the wall and tried to kick Ukyou. Ukyou however blocked with her spatula, sending Shampoo sprawling to the floor. She grabbed some of her mini-spatulas and sent them flying through the air at Shampoo's head. Shampoo jumped out of the way, but was caught by a few of them in the leg. She went crashing through the wall, bringing down most of the U-Chan with her. Ukyou slowly went through the hole looking for Shampoo. Shampoo jumped out at her, throwing a brick at Ukyou. Now it was Ukyou's turn to go through a wall, at the opposite end of the room. Shampoo immediately jumped through the Ukyou shaped hole, intending to finish her off. It was quite a time after Ranma had gotten done with all his dates and was starting to get dark. Ranma walked out of a local rose store with a boquet of red roses in his hands. He was planning to give them to his new wife, but there was one problem. He still did not know who to marry. He sat on the steps of the rose store thinking to himself. He had found out three major things on his dates today, Akane wasn't so bad when she wasn't hitting him, Shampoo could be serious, and something was bothering Ukyou. He started thinking back to his best memories with each of the three girls. One in particular stood out however. "Thats it!" Said Ranma to himself, "I know who to marry now!" He then ran toward his destination. Back at the U-Chan, the fight was still raging. Ukyou had arrived at her maximum fighting level, as had Shampoo. The U-Chan was practically in ruins. "That's it!" Screamed Ukyou, "Now, you will die!" Ukyou couldn't believe she had just said that, but she didn't care. With one mighty swing of her spatula, Shampoo flew into a pile of rubble. Ukyou wiped the sweat from her face. Shampoo had been a much harder fight then she had expected. Ranma had arrived at his destination. He hid the roses behind his back. Then he saw his fiancee, it was Ukyou. He tapped Ukyou on the shoulder, "Ranma! What are you doing here!?" Asked Ukyou, quite surprised. Ranma got on his knees, and pulled the roses out from behind his back, "Ukyou......will you marry me?" Asked Ranma. Ukyou was in total shock. Ranma remembered when he had first felt some love toward her, when they were 13 and on a training mission with Genma Saotome. "Bet you can't do this!" Shouted Ranma. He flew across a gap in the mountain him and Ukyou had been practicing on. Ukyou came to the gap and stopped, "I don't know about this.." Said Ukyou nervously. Ranma jumped back to Ukyou's side. "Look, it's easy." Said Ranma, grabbing her hand. Ranma broke into a run, and Ukyou had no choice but to follow. They flew over the gap and to the other side. "Wasn't that hard was it?" Asked Ranma, a bit cockily. "Alright, now I'll try." Said Ukyou, "But you go first." Ranma went running toward the next gap and flew over it. "Come on!" Ukyou ran toward the gap and jumped she fell just short of making it, "Ranma!" Screamed Ukyou. Ranma caught her hand just before she fell out of reach. "Don't worry Ukyou, I'm not letting go!" Said Ranma with a smile. That was the very first time he had felt love toward her, more than just love as a friend. That's why he decided to ask her to marry him. He had finally come to a decision, he loved Ukyou. "Ukyou, I loved you then. And I love you even more now. So will you marry me?" He asked, extending the roses toward her. Ukyou stared at him for awhile, then tears began to form. "I'm sorry Ranma, but I can't!" Sobbed Ukyou. She then jumped out one of the remaining windows. Ranma stood there, still on his knees, but quickly rose. He had finally decided who he wanted to marry, with all his heart. Then she had left him. Shampoo had heard the whole thing from the rubble she was thrown inside of. She couldn't believe it. She thought Ranma had loved her and would want to marry her. She started sobbing quietly to herself, "Ranma no love Shampoo.." Ryoga heard everything too. He had been passing by to say goodbye to Ukyou, but that didn't matter now. "The only person I need now is myself." Said Ryoga. Ranma walked outside, it had gotten dark out and there was a slight rain, only a sprinkle. Ranma jumped up on to the rooftops and started to walk across them. He didn't know where he was going, but that he would get there quicker this way. Then all of the sudden he didn't feel like walking anymore, he didn't even feel like living anymore. He layed down on the rooftop and closed his eyes, not caring what happened.
