I was trying to subcribe to the BGC mailing list using the email address
given in the faq and got the following error message in return. Does anyone
have the correct  address for the BGC mailing list?

That's a bad address, as the BGC ML moved.

The latest way that I know of to sub the BGC ML is to send e-mail to:

edmonds.home.cs.ubc.ca

with the message body being "subscribe bgc-list"   (without the quotes)
