Well, actually, the MANGA was pretty damned good.  So was Caravan Kidd.

Zen *likes* Johji Manabe's work.

(Granted the Anime of Outlanders was... to put it charitably... less than
perfect.  Okay... VERY charitably.  But they left out 90+% of the plot!)
