Hopefully, ten million people haven't already replied to this...
Zaxxon Hunter postulated:
Hi all,
Is there an 'American Guide to Anime' that has some definitions and
explanations about what happens in Anime, as in language and customs?
Hmm.. if there is, I haven't heard of it.
More immediate questions are ...
What does 'Ranma no baka' mean?
Roughly, "Ranma, you idiot!" or "Ranma you jerk!"
What does 'baka' mean?
Idiot, jerk, fool... As far as most anime translations go, insert random
insult of your choice. Does anyone happen to know the most literal meaning?
What does 'kawii' mean?
Cute. (spelled 'kawai')
