I'm catching up on my email.  There's a bit of a backlog.  :)

I just wanted to say that I really liked this story.  It should be
required reading for all aspiring fanfic writers (a counterpoint, as it
were, to "The Fanfic for YOU!" by Sebastian Weinberg).  Some original
points, handled very well.  I wish I could do to other author-characters
the same thing that happens to Ace.  :)

Original and well-done; a definite read, if you haven't already.
