Sigh. I wish I had as good a fanfic to threaten to yank if no one wrote
back to tell me if they liked it. ^_^ Windlilly, DK is incredibly good, it
has all the story elements in it that I love, its well put together,
believable, intriguing and thoroughly engrossing. I definitely like the
rewrite of the ending, but since I haven't seen the anime its based on I
can't really tell you if its true to its background or not. It has a very
strong CLAMPish aspect to it - or perhaps I should say that vibrant shoujo
tragedy storyline.
Of course, I thought that both sides getting lied to made a huge hole I
was really looking foward to seeing you dig your way out of :), but I
guess I would agree, its too big a lie that if her adopted daughter found
out - well, its too big a risk. On the other hand, whether or not to tell
a dragon who was a direct influence on the end of the world that his only
possible mate was dead is also a rather big dilemma, and I look foward to
how she plans to keep her daughter away from him, once she is out of the
hospital, though it looks like events that happen are now going on will
bail her out for now. :)
Please keep writing, there is at least one person out here who loves your
story! I apologize, I will try to remember to send a rave note after I
read each chapter. Plus definitely post it to the CLAMP mailing list, I
bet they will all love it. Take it or leave it, there are times it feels
like this mailing list should be renamed the Ranma/BGC fanfic and
Secondary Ranma debate mailing list. ^ ^ Maybe I should try to talk
Peridot into posting Tokyo Babylon: Song here so everyone can get a taste
of a really good CLAMP fanfic.
