Cats greet each other by bringing their noses close together, then
walking along each other, touching their sides to each other.
The coupling is initiated by the female, who assumes the mating position
(front body flat on the ground, ass up in the air) and calls for the
male. Unlike with dogs, the *female* chooses when and with whom the
actual copulation takes part.
And Ranma had better run, afterward, since female cats have a tendency to
get a little brutal afterwards - and this cat knows martial arts. :)
Gosunkugi grimaced as the school nurse set his nose. But Akane had
touched him, even if it was just with her elbow. She broke his nose,
but wasn't that a sign of true affection? He knew Kuno would agree.
