Hello again fellow Fanficians, it's been awhile ;)
Fanficians...? Well, it is a small culture...., but I wonder if that is
the best name for such a group....
Hehehehe! I'm not sure if it is, but for some reason, for every chapter I
have written I have used that greeting. I can never think of a better way to
greet
the general membership of this list. Hmm, if "Fanficians" sticks, does that
mean we'll be sending a team to the Olympics in 2000 to represent the tiny
nation of Fanficia? (Couldn't send a Winter Olympic team; we're all too busy
with school and writing <g>).

Ah Ha! Clearly copyrighted ;)
This was done on the advice of my panel of lawyers. Losing that battle over
the rights to my BGC/Macross/Care Bears fanfic was a valuable lesson.

Aaaaah, I see you've been taking hints from those Anime Laws. I like the
way your taking the Mackie/Nene romance along.
Thanks :) And yes, the anime laws are very much on my mind. After all,
ignorance of the law is no excuse ;)
As the door closed on the now dark and empty apartment, the door to
another dark and empty place suddenly clicked open, and stood ajar, it's
staggering array of locks and closures having given way to a key made of
an intangible metal. A metal called trust.
Very deep.
:) I wrote that little section after trying at least a dozen ways to describe
their exit from the apartment in a similar style to how I left Linna and
Leon in the parking lot after their jog (end of Chap. 12). But it is too
early to have Priss and Blackie express their feelings physically just yet.
I'm enjoying
dragging the final moment out, after many people telling me that they didn't
feel that Priss would have expressed her emotions as she did a few chapters
back when she grabbed his hand. But she wasn't grabbing his hand because she
wanted to express her affection. She grabbed his hand to check for that warm
"human feel". A "boomer test" if you will. His father did work for
Genom after all. Only now is she starting to get *really* suspicious. I
wonder what will happen if she ever finds out...
As always Andy, you have written quite a nice story. As they say...
Please, Continue.

Thanks Kergma! You've made my day :)
And there's plenty more to go yet. As well as developing the romantic angles,
I couldn't write a BGC story without a climactic confrontational ending now,
could I? :)
Chapter 14 "Distant Early Warning" should be finished in 3 weeks. The
Anonymous Investor will make a long overdue appearance, and he *will* be
finally revealed. But just what he will reveal himself as may create more
questions than answers.
